How to Prepare for a Plumbing Service Visit

A little preparation helps your service visit go smoothly and lets the plumber focus on the work. Here are a few simple things you can do ahead of time.

    Clear the area

Move items away from the sink, toilet, water heater, or wherever the work will happen. Giving the plumber room to move makes the job faster and safer.

    Note the details

Write down what you have noticed: when it started, how often it happens, and anything unusual. The more detail you can share, the easier it is to find the cause.

    Keep access open

Make sure there is a clear path to the area and that any shut-off valves or panels are easy to reach.
